Mountain & Moorland Championships

The NPS Baileys Horse Feeds Ridden Mountain & Moorland Supreme Championships

Instigated in 1978 the Mountain & Moorland Ridden Championships, sponsored by NPS Baileys Horse Feeds, takes place at Olympia on 22nd December. Competitors are drawn from qualifiers at shows across the country to take part in this prestigious final. The Championships represents an opportunity to view some of the finest examples of the UK’s native breeds.

In addition to the trophy provided by the sponsor are:
The Tansy Trophy for the breeder of the Champion Pony
The Gordon Winter Perpetual Trophy for the rider of the Champion Pony
Special presentations for both small and large breeds are also made to the highest placed pony owned and bred by the exhibitor.
